As of 1 January 2018, VAT-registered companies are required to declare import VAT to the Tax Administration. Consequently, customs decisions no longer contain information of tax basis broken down into different VAT rates, information required for the submission of your VAT return.
Åland Post offers a customs clearance service. In our CustomerPportal you find detailed information and all customs clearance decisions performed by Åland Post on your behalf.

- If you have already used other online services available in the Customer Portal, please send an e-mail to redovisning@alandpost.com with information on which company you represent and we will connect you to the customs clearance service.
- We also offer an Export function in the Customer Portal, where clearance information along with customer value for a specific period can be exported to Excel and used as support when filing and paying VAT.
