Åland Post deals with printing, enveloping and delivering all kinds of invoices, account statements and other paper mailings – everything from customer or member mailings to direct mail.
Physical mailings are still a good, secure way for banks, insurance companies, voluntary organisations, etc. to communicate with their customers. However, digital channels are becoming increasingly popular and our service portfolio is growing.
“As well as selling our mailing services, my role also includes continuing to develop our services into an even better turnkey product for our customers,” explains Björn Tennström, Sales Manager for the Banking and Insurance customer segment.
Digitisation is leading to fewer physical mailings and letters, and Åland Post has become a full e-invoice operator in order to meet the digital demand.
“We need to be able to offer even more services,” adds Björn. “The customer might want to send some of its mailings in physical form and others by e-mail, text message or e-invoice. We can deal with all the customer’s communications, whatever the distribution channel.”
